We took plastic yard flamingos, plastered into silver buckets which gave them weight and stability. I used large coral pieces from Pottery Barn and added greenery and flowers.
I found these great colored re-usable ice-cubes from Party City. Add a lime slice and flamingo for fun!
My newest obsession is plastic tablecloth chandeliers. They are an easy and inexpensive addition to party decorations. Tutorials for these are found on my page, on the right. I used colors found in the napkins and added gold instead of a yellow for a bit of shine!
The paper banner from Papyrus has honeycomb and faux gemstone details and has been one of my favorite purchases to date! I laid it across the flowers mostly because I needed more color, the yellow and pink!
The gummies are all natural from Whole Foods and their color was perfect. Sometimes my first instinct is to color coordinate, and when I don’t and stop myself from pulling out certain colors, I’m usually happier with the final product. In other words be flexible and don’t stress over the itty bitty stuff.
Hope enjoyed a little snippet of a Flamingle Fete! Until next time birdies!
